One of the projects I've been working on this summer is a DVD of some drills and teaching progressions I use coaching sprinters, jumpers, and hurdlers. I'm happy to say it is done and you can see a preview below. This is the first, of many, clips and DVD's that show our athletes performing some of the skills and drills they learn in our program. Not every skill is done perfectly, but they give you the idea of what we are trying to teach. Keep in mind, drills are not a substitute for the actual event. I like to think of them as a caricature of the position, movement pattern, or quality being trained. They are often a neuromuscular exaggeration meant to kick start the central nervous system. My quiver of skills and drills is always evolving. Volume 1 is a small snapshot of what we do.
